Prevost Street Custom Home

About this project

A two-story custom home on an infill lot in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood. Mike Walker Lumber engineered the full roof package: 5:12 hip trusses on both wings, a flat-roof section over the center of the house and framing for the second-floor balcony, with drag trusses rated from 350 to 640 plf for the lateral design. The package was trucked to the South Bay and craned over the street onto the second floor.
