Delia Way New Home

About this project

A new single-story home on Delia Way as Paradise continues to rebuild. Mike Walker Lumber engineered and fabricated the roof truss package for Oasis Community Builders, including common trusses on a 47-foot clear span across the main living area and girder trusses carrying up to 4,800 lb, with the porch rafters framed by others. The package was delivered and craned onto the walls in a single morning.

Scope of work

• Common roof trusses on a 47′-4″ clear span over the open living area
• Girder trusses engineered for 3,900–4,800 lb point loads
• Layout coordinated with site-framed porch rafters
• Delivered and craned onto the walls on Oasis Community Builders’ schedule
